Saturday-Jake didn't get much sleep that night, so he was finally asleep when my parents showed up. So they cleaned my house and then afterwords we walked to their hotel and back so Jake could get some quiet sleep. Jake woke up shortly after we got back, and we headed to St. George. Well first we stopped at Cal Ranch so mom could do some Christmas shopping. ...Jake got a couple things from there...
back on the road, I realized we forgot Sydney's stroller and this would get interesting since she was already starting to get tired.
We stopped first at famous footwear and they didn't have anything Jake like for Christmas so we went to sketchers-where Jake got another Christmas present (now if only Christmas were just around the corner).
Afterwords we headed to big 5 to see if we could find me any snow boots, but they didn't have any good ones in yet. Then for a late lunch/early dinner we went to Brick Oven. By this time Sydney was so tired. There food is wonderful. Sydney peas, olives, and garlic bread, and chocolate mousse. After that everything went on the floor.
5 minutes into the drive and she was asleep. Thank heaven she slept all the way home.
That night we played phase ten. Dad won, making it all the way to phase 7 before we quit.
Sunday-
We relaxed for a while, Jake cleaned out the fridge (which it looks amazing now) and we got ready for church. Sydney was a little wiggle worm-definitely going to need to change her nap time around to mesh with church. We only stayed for sacrament meeting because Sydney was tired and my parents need to get on the road for home. On the drive back to my house, which is like 2 minutes, Sydney fell asleep.
Before my parents left I wanted to make them carrot juice, well I did but I forgot to put the cup under the machine and so it went all over my counter....So Funny.
And that was the trip in a blog post.
