summer time

Lagoon: sorry long post: lots of pics
my mom called me up on June 7th to ask if Jake and i wanted tickets to lagoon on June 14th. i had to laugh because she waited a week before the day to ask...well both of us were able to get work off. it was a lot of fun and really good to see my family, Andrew was a good sport and wanted to go on a lot of the big rides that jerk you around and he was so sore afterwards because he couldn't hold himself still. so Jake and i went on the rides with him and we would just put our arm over cross him to keep him as still as possible, which isn't an easy task when your being turned upside down. we also got to ride rattle snack rapids 3 times: once with just the teenagers, then with the adults, and then Jake, my dad, and i took Andrew on it for a third time-poor guy slept through the first run through. for more pics you can view them on facebook @ http://www.facebook.com/aaacrazyblonde

here are some pics of the family:

every year we ride the go carts, and this year because Andrew is so week dad bought him a passenger ticket instead of a driver ticket...well me being the nice person i am switched, he was the driver and i was his passenger. Andrew is actually a good driver, but because he has little muscle took keep pressing the gas, i had to keep my foot on the gas the entire time, and then he would press the break when needed, because there was a couple sharp turns as well i put a couple fingers on the steering wheel just to make sure we didnt go off the road, i had no idea how crazy my family is while driving until your in the slowest car on the track. im just glad no one crashed too badly-dad said he actually bumped into shays car so bad he got turned around on the track, and the lagoon workers had to come flip the car back around. :)

high sky ride
this is jake and i after our second time on the rapids and we were completely drenched, by the third run, the light spot you see on my pants and shirts-not there anymore i was so soaked, it was like 7:30 pm by the time we were done so it was quite cold, but thank goodness for spare change of clothes-life savers.
