5 Months

Dear Sydney,

I cannot believe you are 5 months. You are growing so fast and you are starting to show your personality.
As of late it seems you are bored with your dad and I when we try to play with you. Your favorite thing right now is to watch the dogs. When the dogs start playing rough you sit there and laugh and squeal at them.

There were a few firsts for you this past month:
-Your first snow
-Your first Thanksgiving (This year it was our turn to go to the Arnolds' for Thanksgiving)
-Your first Christmas Tree decorating
-Your first time eating Rice Cereal
-Your first time drinking out of a sippy cup (which you like way more than the bottle and was supposed to be your Christmas present, but we let you play with it at the store and you wouldn't put it down, so we gave in. I know-way to easy)

You are such a good baby. You never cry unless you're hungry or tired. And you have been that way since birth. I cannot believe how lucky I am.
Right now every time you eat your cereal I have your dad feed you, unless he is asleep or at school.
You get so excited for it, and of course you make a huge mess.
You still haven't rolled over, but your dad and I are determined you can do it before the end of the year, so right now you are doing tummy time as much and as many times throughout the day as possible. We'll get you there.
Right now you are at the skinniest you have ever been, it was like you had a growth spurt and your tummy disappeared. Your pants barely stay up anymore.
We love you sweatheart.

Love,
Mom

We were driving down to Great Grandma Harvey's for Thanksgiving and you kept scowling at your dad.

Aunt Sarah was headed to St. George for softball, and stopped by to say hi

Mommy was trying to read and you wouldn't let me because you wanted to hold the book

An early Christmas present (the hat) from Grandma and Grandpa Arnold

This is how i find you after every nap. Out of the blankets, talking, and playing

This is your first sippy cup

You were watching Grandpa Arnold eat his pie at Thanksgiving

Your first Christmas Tree. Your dad wanted to get this tree just for you. It's a Norfolk Pine Tree. The plan is for us to keep it alive so you can have your own tree next year. Also, right now your dad and you have a game going on where he carries you upside down and you love it.
