Lydia came up monday to babysit Sydney while Jake and I went to a movie and dinner. We saw Safe House with Denzel Washington. It was really good. We then ate at Apple-bees.
Then Jake got the Tuesday grave off for his birthday. Wes and Nicole came over for dinner. We had a salad bar, with buffalo steak and mashed potatoes. They stayed for a couple hours then had to leave. Earlier in the day Sydney and I gave him a Lego car set for his birthday. Wes and Nicole gave him a gift card to cafe Rio, and my parents gave him cash and a Olive Garden gift card. My grandparents also sent birthday cards (The Harveys with cash). We couldn't think of anything to get him, because Jake wanted a couple video games that 1) he already bought/or was planning to buy 2) they weren't even released yet. So his birthday was simple this year. We then had german chocolate cake...which we didn't blow out the candles til Wednesday morning on a half eaten cake.
