Since it was a Saturday we spent a lazy morning here at home, and then had Lizzy open her presents. She got a tablet, a book set, some peppa pig pajamas, and book with her name throughout the story.
Then we waited for my parents to get here so we could carve pumpkins. It put us back some time, so we ended up being thirty minutes late. But we got pumpkins carved!

| Bindy painted Sydney's face for the Harvey Halloween party. |
As soon as we were done with this we headed to Julie and Scotts house for the Halloween party. We brought Skylee with us, and drove Bindy's pathfinder (which Skylee ended up throwing up in on our way to the party). There were lots of games. The kids all had a fun time. I spent my time going back and forth between William inside (or being carried around by various people) and the 3 girls.
Jake and Scott talked most the time, and also took care of the pinata.
After all the games and delicious food (homemade chili, scones, homemade veggie soup) we celebrated the October birthdays. Starting with Lizzy first because her birthday was that day.
Then Savannah and Alex, and Crista and Brayla.
Lizzy got: a mailbox from Crista?, a doll (from Great Grandma and Grandpa), Shayla gave her a gray/silver dress, mom gave her a pink vest outfit, Julie gave her Corduroy stuffy and book, and a pink little bunny rabbit (from Audrey?). Thanks to everyone. After gifts were done, I asked if everyone would sing happy birthday to Lizzy with us, and we brought cupcakes (that we had made with Bindy and Skylee and Sydney decorated them) for everyone too. It was a busy day, but it was fun filled, and we appreciate family for celebrating Lizzy's birthday with us.
| Sydney was so sad that she didn't get a baby doll like Lizzy. In fact for months after she kept asking for a doll like that one. |
