We always start the night off with opening our Christmas Jammies. So this year all the kids got footie pajamas. Jake and I always enjoy finding pajamas for the other and this year I had fun buying Jake's "Someone's been Naughty" shirt and some pants to go with it.
The kids were so excited and we were trying to get them ready for bed when Sydney and Lizzy remembered we hadn't done Santa's cookies yet. So we made up some prepackaged cookie dough and got a plate with some carrots on it ready.
Sydney wrote the note to Santa, and it was cute.
(we don't really do a whole lot else on Christmas Eve other than lounging around and watching some movies.)
