March 19th, 2021.
The kids and I headed up to Antelope Island today. It's spring time and I wanted to get there before the gnats came out. We had a lot of fun. The kids hiked up the rocks and ran around and played in the sand. At some point the kids found a fake flower bouquet in the brush. The kids wanted to keep it, so we did. Eventually we made our way to the edge of the Great Salt Lake, and it was a long walk. It showed just how much the drought in Utah is effecting the lakes. The kids had fun playing in the water. Got their shoes wet. They hated having to wear them wet all the way back to car (which was a good trek back). After we got back in the car we drove up the loop to see the lake from above. The kids had fun looking through the binoculars. William had a lot of fun running around underneath the wooden patio.
