The fire dept came to the kindergarten classes to talk about fire safety and other safety things (like outlets and stoves) with the kids. Then they got to see a fire truck, have a fireman talk about their gear, and then actually get dressed in it, and have the fireman blow the fire engine horn.
William loved it so much. I was really lucky to be able to get to experience it with him, because I had just gotten off of recess duty.
