William 9 Months (3 1/2 months of catching up)

Well it's been a few months since I last wrote to you my dear, William. So I will be playing catch up on all the many, many things you now can do. (posted on Dec 15/16)

Starting at 7 months:
You got really good at crawling.
Started Pulling yourself up in your crib.
Started eating table food.
You started pulling yourself to a standing position -9/23

8 Months:
You had your first Halloween-you were a monkey.
Got your first teeth (both bottom front)-10/21
You started crying and talking at the same time. I don't know if I consider it your first word, definitely your first sound, you said nanana.
You got your first ride in the swing at our park here.
You love solid food.
You love playing with the blinds and you have started trying to eat them.
You love chasing Amber around.
At 8 3/4 Months old you were finally able to hold the bottle all by yourself.
Started taking first steps while holding onto the couch.
Started leaving the carseat in the car and just taking you in and out of it.
You will play in your crib for a little while, and usually your playing consists of you taking whatever toy and dragging it along the wall and crib, or just plain hitting the wall.

this is where you were while we were carving pumpkins. about 5 feet away.

9 Months:
You keep waking up in the middle of the night, so I have started giving you a bottle in your crib. And you usually fall asleep right after.
You are trying to get into everything, and climb on everything. You don't seem to understand gravity yet. Although your sisters love to push you off the step stool in front of the couch (I'm sorry).
You started cry/talking "dada".
You love throwing and chasing things. Especially balls.
You've gotten really good at falling asleep in the stroller. Which I really appreciate. But now that you love to move, unless the stroller is moving, you just scream and cry while sitting in it.
You really love your dad. When he gets home you launch yourself into his arms.
You love watching the girls take a bath. I put the gate up in the door way, and you hang on to it and talk to them. It's gotten to the point where if one of them goes in the bathroom and the door gets shut you scream and cry outside the door.
Started taking your pants off in your crib when you get bored.
You were able to stand all on your own for 30 seconds for the first time  on Nov 27th.
We got rid of the jumper that has lasted through all 3 of you kids, because you love being able to pull yourself up on it, but you hate being in it-because you can't move around. So since we needed the space for the Christmas tree we gave it away to a neighbor.
You hate baths. From the the moment you were given your first sponge bath as an infant til now, if you get into water (not playing in it, because you love playing in the dog water-side note:you love to try and eat dog food-) you just scream. High pitched shrill screaming. And I usually just have to laugh at your hysterics.  But you love watching your sisters bath, you stand at the gate in front of the bathroom door and just laugh and talk.

Stats: 11/23/16

He loves to do this making the Indian sound "ahhhhhh"

9 month checkup (and Lizzys 2 yr)

My sweet little boy. You are growing up so fast. Doing so many things. We love you so very much.
You are a joy to be around; and so much fun to play with. You love your sisters. You love to be near them, and try to do what they are doing. You love it when they play the run away from you game, and you chase them throughout the house. Sydney can consistently make you laugh. She can get up and just start walking towards you and you'll start giggling. It is so adorable. The spot on the back of your head has continued to be a point of fascination with people. It amazes me how different you look now with your blonde hair then you did almost 10 months ago. Time seems to have flown by. I am so excited for your first Christmas. I know it will be so magical.

Love mom and dad.
