***Thursday night we celebrated my dads birthday at Red Robins. We sang and he and the kids blew out candles on donuts.
Well Friday the 14th, my sweet baby (who isn't a baby anymore) turned 6!!!!!
I took the kids to the splash pad earlier that afternoon for her birthday. We met up with my mom later to help her with some errands and then had her come to the house an hour early to help me tidy up a bit before everyone got here. Which was a total blessing.
We had my family over to the house to celebrate with us (at 7 pm). Lyndsey was also up visiting her boyfriends family, so she came over for a little bit.
Sydney decorated her own cake. With a little help from Lizzy and William.
Lyndsey gave Sydney a superwoman dress up outfit. Sydney put it on wore it for a minute, before taking it off because it itched.
Sydney wanted pancakes for dinner, So while the family was visiting I was in the kitchen making pancakes. Spencer and my mom, and grandma helped with the dinner (breakfast) making.
After food we opened presents.
-Spencer gave Sydney a bucket with pencils and different kinds of flash cards.
-Grandma Harvey (or Great Grandma to the kids) gave Sydney a bunch of shirts. (Actually I had bought the shirts but Jake and I had a few other things for her, and grandma didn't have anything, so we gave her those on behalf of grandma).
-My parents gave her an easy bake oven. And a couple outfits.
-Lydia gave her 3 fairy dress up outfits. All pink. (She ordered the outfits and didn't realize each dress came with wings to -but it worked out because now all the kids can each have there own pair of wings :) )
-Jake and I gave her a bike, a little camera (waterproof), a watch (which we forgot about til the next day), Chocolate rock candies, And a Moana Karaoke CD ..........
The house didn't clear of people until around 11:30 pm.
We had a lot of fun. Or at least Sydney did. Elizabeth struggled with not getting to open any presents.
Sydneys Birthday.
