On December 23rd, we went to my moms for our annual Christmas party. We took Ukulele with us because we wasn't old enough to be left on his own for a long time. We celebrated Bradys birthday. We made gingerbread houses. The girls had so much fun putting their graham crackers together, although my hands got covered in frosting trying to help them stay up. It turns out that the previous night Jake and I had been looking up frosting recipes and so he was able to help my mom make some good frosting that would work for the gingerbread houses. And the girls loved to decorate their houses. Afterwards went and sang carols, and gave our gingerbread houses to those we caroled to the neighbors. The kids didn't really know the lyrics to the songs, but they sang what they could. Sydney and Lizzy were at the front of the group every time. But Jake ended up holding William who was a little scared/shy each time we got out to sing. We had a really good dinner. And then of course we opened presents. The kids love opening presents. Sometimes more than what they get.
Spencer wore his ugly Christmas sweater.
Trying to get this group picture was so bad. The kids wouldn't listen. Everyone was talking to them during the picture taking process. So this was the best I got.
We Celebrated Bradys Birthday. He turned 29 years old. And his birthday happens to also be December 23rd.
Below: The kids really wanted to open up a gift, so mom let them each open up one thing. They each got a huge coloring book.

Below: She really doesn't like Jake. Its so funny to see her reaction every time. And this time he held her for a minute before she realized who was holding her.

The icing wasn't strong enough to hold up the houses so it took some maneuvering to get the houses to stay up for long enough to have the icing dry.
