The kids were already at the campsite having stayed overnight with my parents. Jake and I got there around 11:30ish. Made sure the kids were dressed in their swimsuit and covered in sunscreen before we began our adventure. For the first time in years we were going to the Lagoon-a-Beach. I made sure the kids all had on their water shoes, because the ground in the beach area is so hot it burns your feet badly. We decided to do it this year, because of our season passes. And the kids had a fun for a little while, but The kiddie area is too boring for Sydney and the lines for the water rides were kind of long. I think we only stayed for an hour. But the kids got to ride tubes in the lazy river and they had fun with it.
After the hour, we headed to the campsite to change everyone out of their wet clothing. That took probably a good thirty minutes. The only swim pics I got were on my cell phone, so those pics are farther down.
The kids always love Lagoon. Sydney loves going off with Shayla and riding all the roller coasters. Lizzy and William are totally fine in kiddie land, especially when Oaklee and Kash are there.
This year I split my time with Sydney riding the big coasters and Lizzy and William in kiddie land. It felt really weird to leave the two kids with mom and Sarah and go ride rides with Sydney. But I loved it too. She definitely takes after her dad, who loves to ride any roller coaster.
Lizzy is getting anxious and asking about when she can do the big coasters. I know she is jealous of Sydney.
Eventually, Jason and Tami and their kids came and Sydney enjoyed having someone her age to go on roller coasters with. I was so happy that Savannah was nice and went on rides with her.
Pics from little camera:
This is when Shayla and Sydney split from the little kids.
This dragon ride is one of my kids absolute favorites. Going super fast forwards and backwards.
There was this peacock hanging out and these people were feeding it goldfish. Eventually they gave my kids a couple goldfish to try feeding it. and they ended up scaring it away. Lizzy was so bummed.
Rattlesnake rapids has to be my family's favorite ride ever. We look forward to it every year.
The line is always super long, but goes by pretty quickly.
Sarah stayed back with Kash so she took these pictures with my camera. She did a really good job.
We started a tradition a few years ago where we stop for ice cream in Pioneer village after riding Rattlesnake Rapids.
The kids love it and Lizzy and William always get the muli-colored ice cream.
Headed back to kiddie land while Jake and Sydney took off for the bigger rides.
The kids really wanted to play a carnival game before we left for the night. But Jake and I don't bring cash because we hate wasting it on these games. So my mom pays for all the kids and they each end up winning (with lots of help from the adults) a cheap little stuffed animal.

Sydney, Jake, and my Dad went on these water rides beside the kiddie area.
Trying to get a group pic at Rattlesnake Rapids and my mom would not stop talking for a second.
We don't ride The Bat that often so it's always a good time when we can sneak it in.
We love the Bambora though. Its such a good roller coaster even though its a very short ride.
The end of our evening.
