Anyway, My parents always take the trailer up the night before and stay there. We got there right around 10:30 AM. For once we were on time/a little early. So we parked right across from the Wicked ride, because there is where there is a path that leads from the camping area to the park entrance. So every time we headed back to the park (because you can exit the park straight into the camping area, but you have to walk all the way back around to the front entrance to get back in) we would pass by the car and get water if we needed it.
We didn't end up leaving the park til closing. And we always just go back to the trailer at the end of the day to say goodbye and get the keys and stuff that we have locked inside the trailer (it is so nice to be able to do that and not have to worry about taking them into the park and losing them or having them stolen).
We then headed home and got home probably around 11 pm.
The kids always enjoy going to Lagoon. As Lizzy is getting older she is wanting to go off and ride the big rides with Jake and Sydney. She cried so hard when her daddy left with Sydney to go ride Cannibal. Sydney was able to go with her Grandpa, Aunt Sarah, Uncle Spencer, and Aunt Shayla on the Cannibal. I am so grateful that my family includes her in their fun.
But once we got out of that funk and moved on Lizzy and William had a blast.
Sydney LOVES the big roller coasters. And her favorite is Cannibal. And she always asks me to go on it at least once on our trip, and it makes me so anxious and nervous and scared. The roller-coaster loads you near the ground, and then the ride moves upward (like an elevator) and then when you get to the top you're like 250 ft off the ground and it drops you straight down for what seems like forever, but is really only 5 or ten seconds. Then it does some twists that leaving you hanging upside down the whole time (that is the worst part, because you are only held in by a lap bar and it makes me feel every time like I am gonna slip out it and fall to my death), and then it ends 3 minutes later.

William had fallen asleep in the car on the way to Lagoon. I was glad he got a little nap in before all the excitement.
below: at the entrance waiting for Jake to get our tickets.
below: inside the park. It was a good choice to bring that wagon.
below: the kids love playing in the water fountain feature Lagoon has at its entrance in the park.
below: riding some rides in kiddie land.
below: had to get our annual Lagoon family picture. Minus Spencer, because he wasn't there yet.
below: Off to go ride Rattlesnake Rapids and stopped in old town to get ice cream first.
below: on our way back from Rattlesnake Rapids.
below: since the kids were already wet we played in the fountain while waiting for Spencer to come.
below: Sarah, Spencer, Jake, Sydney and Dad headed off to go ride the big rides. So mom and I took Oaklee and Lizzy and William to kiddie land.
Here the kids are riding the bumper cars.
William is in the middle sucking his thumb.
here the kids are riding in the car that goes around a track and comes back to the start.
Here are the kids riding the airplane. They told us two kids couldn't ride in one seat and so Oaklee ended up riding in another airplane.
below: I took the kids on a train ride by myself. Mom had taken Oaklee back to the trailer to nap. And Sydney was still off with the adults riding the big rides.
below: meeting up with Jake and we took turns riding the little kid "rocket rides" ladybug and mushroom.
below: in line to ride the dragon ride in kiddie land. It goes really fast forward, and then goes really fast backwards. So you end up squishing each other.
(Don't mind my red face. Being outside (whether I am doing something physically taxing or not) I always get a red face. )
below: After that we ended up meeting up with Shay how was hanging out with Katie and Eric and Crista who came to the park later. Here we are getting ready to ride the Tilt-O-Whirl. Jake and I will not be able to ride with all the kids ever again. We were sooo squished.
below: Sydney and Jake split off again and I took Lizzy and William back to kiddie land.
We found this really cool painted wall.
riding the jeeps that bounce you around in a circle.
riding airplanes. she was mad because William didn't want to ride the same plane as her.
And magically Sydney and Jake showed up just in time for her to ride the ride too.
below: we rode the little swings in kiddie land, together as a family. But i do not fit in those swings. Not til I drop a few pounds.
below: riding helicopters
below: I love how my dad is buddies with my son. It warms the heart.
below: Dad took William to go ride in the cars again.
below: In line to ride the dragon kiddie ride. everyone can ride it now.
I got some fun pics of us while on the ride.We rode it twice, switching up riding partners the second time.
below: riding the animals. Oaklee had fun the first time and not so much the second time.
below: Sarah watched Lizzy and William for me while Jake and I and Sydney rode the Cannibal. Afterwards everyone met up by the Thunder Dome to ride the race cars but it was already closed. So before everyone left, I had Spencer's friend take a new family pic of us.
Cellphone pics of the day:
below: we rode Rattlesnake Rapids when it was nice and hot outside. At like 1 pm. All the kids enjoyed it. And I made sure to bring extra clothes and socks for everyone. But Jake said next year to bring extra underwear too. That made me laugh, but also it's true. So after this ride we made our way back to the trailer to change everything. My kiddos cannot stand to have wet anything for clothing. And we had lunch then too. We laid everything out to dry, even the shoes while we ate.
Jake had gone off with Sydney, so Lizzy and William and I rode the train. Of course William thought it was awesome.

below: waiting for the blue roller coaster in kiddie land. William LOVED it.
below: Grandma bought all the kiddos a slurpie.
below: we are in line for one of the Haunted Mansion rides ( and that little girl in the far right corner peeking into the picture so is funny... also, looks like one of my kids (especially dressed in orange)).
