Grandma Arnold's Christmas Party

December 7th we went to Grandmas new house off of 126th South for the Christmas party. It was a little more crowded than the house was, but it was a cute place. The kids had room in the basement to play games.

Lots of food to snack on.

The older kids played a game with candy in the middle and dice. They also played unwrap the candy. (this is where candy is wrapped in a plastic wrap ball and the kids have to unwrap the candy from the ball. But they only have until the next person rolls doubles.) The younger kids played a game of basketball and then colored. They also got gifts from grandma-they were books and then we ended up reading one.

Then everyone played Bingo while we waited for Santa to show up.

When Santa showed up, we sang a couple of Christmas songs, He read a story, and then he handed out gifts to all the kids.

My kids each got a sketch and doodle tablet.

The kids had fun. I am glad we can still do an extended family Christmas party with the Arnold's.
